Oceanside Pirates win fifth straight section title in dramatic fashion |

Just before the start of its CIF Division II Championship Game on Friday night, Oceanside High football coach John Carroll gathered his players for a pregame pep talk.
The message was simple: Win or lose, this was a night the team’s players would remember forever.
It just so happened, the game lived up to the hype, too.
