Coronado Speed Festival free for active-duty military |

Gentlemen, start your engines. The 11th Annual Coronado Speed Festival is scheduled Sept. 27 through the 28th on Naval Air Station North Island.
Come out and experience the excitement of 225 classic vintage racing cars battling it out on a 1.7-mile course. You and your family can enjoy an action-packed weekend full of fast racing, classic automobiles, and lots of four-wheeled fun. A car show and Car Club Corral will also be a part of the two-day event.
The event is free to active-duty military members, active reservists and their direct dependents. Also, discounted ticket prices for Department of Defense employees and retirees are now available. Children under the age of 12 accompanied by an adult will be allowed entry to the event for free.
